help -- remove dragonprime paypal button

i cant find anywhere on here on hpow to remove the DP paypal button.  i only want the author and site admin buttons.  so how do i remove the dragonprime one?

You do realize that without donations to DP, the cost of providing this site for your benefit comes straight out of my pocket, right?

Did you realize that we did not make our fund raising target last year, so it cost me money to run?

I can’t force you to keep the DP Paypal button in place, but perhaps you should consider the value you get from this website before taking the choice away from your players on how they might want to support LoGD.

I wouldn’t expect too much help figuring it out on this site…

I would think to leave it alone, put there by the people who created and offered such with no payment, thus allowing others to either donate or not, leaving that option available, so that you could otherwise even place one for your site; it doesn't necessarily follow that you must use it (and it harms nothing, costs nothing)--isn't it enough that it and support, upgrades and modifications, are available, as well at no cost?  It's just a couple of small graphics, taking very little space.  They even have dragons for their theme.

The result that I can fathom of such would be to remove connection between a running copy and its creators, who create, modify, fix, further, and recreate the same.  It raises the question why?  Perhaps to present the appearance of having done so?  I've replied to this elsewhere before.  Is there a problem with players clicking it or complaints of its appearance on the page?  Is the space needed?  I've yet to see anyone mention a shrinking of the size of the graphic itself or anysuch.

Again, asking the very ones who've created such and put that there isn't the best idea, raises the question of intent, and is less than congratulatory/appreciative, somewhat dismissive possibly.  Consider whom you're asking; then, consider the basic concept of motivation, and where would you post such a question about what as well to whom otherwise.

I'm not currently in a position to think to afford to support financially DP; although, I do enjoy the benefits of those who have and/or do.  Through such I've even begun learning finally something about PhP so that such is even about more than the game, a platform if you'll allow which affords me an initial introduction while maintaining a controlled framework from which to develop greater understanding.

These questions always make me feel sad.  One thing I always try to do is find out what site the person who is asking this is from.  Then I like to see if they are running any modules I've written.  If they are, it stings even more.  Considering I've never restricted, charged, or requested any payment for use of my modules (and in fact I've gone out of my way to make sure they are as easily accessible as possible), the only real request I would have is that people who like my modules contribute to dragonprime so that my modules can continue to be updated as needed and then available whenever requested.

I hope that your question, SaraDayBella, came out of a desire to clean up your site and was not an intentional slight of the work of all the authors who have contributed here.  In fact, it's possible that after you've considered all these issues, you'd like to know how to make the button even bigger!  Just let us know and we can help you do that.

That's how they are by default. If they aren't, provided you haven't changed the code, then you probably have the DP PayPal module installed. Uninstall the module and make sure all the appropriate images are in their appropriate directory locations. That will arrange the buttons the way you've shown.

I tired to tell he is was stock...she kept thinking that 'stock' was a module . I don't remove..just I've had some many questions as to how donate to HN, so I did a little imaging work, not complete, it''l be much better once I get the images complete, but it works for now

i found also that i didnt have the image for the icon.  so everything was also at fault because of it.  also it was the dp paypal module that was also messing things up.  i only wanted it removed if i coudnt fix it and white knight told me the problem.  so now i want to keep it there.
