Hi!
But i can only buy Gems.
I don't can give my gems in the shop for gold.

Why?
Where is the Error?

Sorry, my english is not so good.  Embarrassed
Nice greetings from Germany.

http://lotgd.tiger4you.de/

By default and for good reason - a player must be at least level 4 in order to sell Gems to the Gemstore -
Dont forget to adjust the default prices also to avoid the Gemstore from being used as a cash machine via player cheating:
3400, 6700, 9900 works very well.

For a German version: visit Anpera's website

I don't know if anyone is interested but, I could make a whole new gemshop where you just input how many gems you want to buy, that could save some time if people are buying 50-200 gems....If anyone is interested tell me and I will make it.

If I am not mistaken rouge's alley is just a set of navs for other mods..... many of us make sections to go to other sections so as not to populate the village with a bunch of navs....

Aye, very true. . . Rogue's Alley is just a little sidestreet in Legendgard where other things are. Most things on that street aren't released. Change rogue's alley to Village.php or where ever you placed the gemshop.

(remembers to kick himself about not taking that out... the mods haven't been very newbie friendly, have they?)

I have managed to install the most of them without problem so I think they are okay! What the url to legendgard by the way ?

Glad to hear it all works for you mate.  . .

Legendgard is a private/ invite only server.. . otherwise it's a giant rumor that really doesn't exist. We're not sure. Can anyone confirm that Legendgard is actually there?

It might just be in my tortured imagination.

As far as the Gemshop 1.9 mod is concerned, there's a lot of features in this one that make it a LOT more desireable to me than simply being able to dump a ton of gems on the market.

Without the price flux, there's no real market. Just a flat rate.

 A little line of code that will limit the amount of gems available.

I did this due to players will sell off a ton of gems thereby  flooding the market,
making way too many available for sale!!

Open Anpera/Strider; gemstore.php
find the line:
savesetting ("selledgems" ,getsetting ("selledgems",0)+ 1);
AFTER  add this line:
if (getsetting ("selledgems",0)>=10) savesetting ("selledgems" ,getsetting ("selledgems",0)- 6);

Gems can still be sold - but when amount in store becomes 10 or more
the amount in the store becomes 4

Now players can sell off as many as they want but the amount available for purchase is limited

If you want more or less than 10 available - alter:  >=10 to whatever number you select.

How many still use Gemshop 1.9? I'm thinking about doing a 2.0 version for LOTGD 0.9.7 but I'm unsure if I should or just start working on a 0.9.8 version. . .  Thoughts?

Well, I personally am having some trouble with the thought of giving up my beloved 0.9.7 game......  I am finding the 0.9.8 code to be somewhat restricting (more work for same results).... and will propably leave my 0.9.7 game running indefinately and if I continue forward 0.9.8 will be a seperate game altogether.  So....... yes an upgraded gem shop would be very welcome.
