Hi there!
Due to I couldn´t find many german translated mods i started to translate some mods i like.
So here´s the first one

Based on Lonnys Bathroom mod

I did some Modifications
 * added private bath for your house (require houses.php)
     there you can win/loose charme
you can use the bathroom mod without houses.php, of course, just add it somewhere else
 * can find gem in one of the forest events
 * and of course: german translation

http://dragonprime.net/users/SkyPhy/bathhouse_GER.zip

Also, immer schön vorher um Erlaubnis fragen. Die bekommt man leichter, als Vergebung.

Also
3) Die meisten schreiben sowieso: Feel free to modify the code

Also. Machts nicht wie Microsoft. Open Source rulez!!!!

Shocked

Quote
2.  You may modify your copy or copies of the Program or any portion of it, thus forming a work based on the Program, and copy and distribute such modifications or work under the terms of Section 1 above, provided that you also meet all of these conditions
hmmm, distribute....

Also:
Sorry Lonnl &  Sixf00t4 for not asking you if  i may distribute a translation of your work. PM me if you want me to delete the files..

And for lonnyl:
We are just discussing about what conditions to met do distribute translations on DragonPrime. The Reason is simply that i forgot to read the forum-rules.

Mfg, SkyPhy

 Smiley
I hope it was just a small missunderstanding dealing with the difference between the rules of this forum to ask for permission before uploading someone else's work, and the open source licence that allows to use and modify (and translate) someone else's code.

I'm pretty sure that noone, who offers his mods here won't allow the posting of a translation of his work. (He should be asked anyways.)
But I've never seen some of the translated files above on Sourceforge or Dragonprime and I just wanted to make clear that there must be permission from the author before a (maybe first) release of his code on Dragonprime. Regardless which language it is.

(And yes, I was upset for good reason. Persons who need to know it, know it. Wink )

edit: SkyPhy was faster...

Well as far as I am concerned I am honored that somone liked the mods enough to tranlate them..... I have absolutely no problem with a translation.   As the game seems to be rather popular amongst the german speaking population, and there are a great number coming here... I think maybe we need to address this and create a section for translated mods.... I would be happy to upload anything of mine that was tranlated and post it in my section.  I personally when changing a mod submit the changes to the author, if they do not respond, or don't use the changes, I post only the changes..... (unless they are too large to do only that).  I do agree if a mod is not released HERE, there should not be a modification of it HERE.  ONLY what has been posted HERE, should be re-posted with modifications, AND the author should be given the opportunity to look it over and post it with the proper credentials (including the tranlator) before someone else posts it.... I personally have included others changes a few times as the official part of a realease.
