Just a minor annoyance I was hoping someone could help with.

When exploring the superuser grotto I put an email address in the "admin paypal email" field and submitted changes, which turned on the "Donate to Site Admin" graphic next to the one for donating to the lotgd author...

In any case, I've since discovered that for some reason the grotto won't let me delete the admin paypal address -- well it does, but the graphic remains after resubmit and when I go back in to check it has reappeared in the field.

So... Is there any way I can get rid of that infernal graphic until I'm ready to put in a legitimate site admin paypal email address..?

sure. it's quite easy. in the program common.php, look for this:

if ($paysite != "") {
     $paypalstr .= '</td><td>';
     $paypalstr .= '<form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target="_blank">

<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_xclick">
<input type="hidden" name="business" value="'.$paysite.'">
<input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="Legend of the Green Dragon Site Donation from '.preg_replace("/[`]./","",$session['user']['name']).'">
<input type="hidden" name="item_number" value="'.htmlentities($session['user']['login']).":".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']."/".$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'].'">
<input type="hidden" name="no_shipping" value="1">
<input type="hidden" name="cn" value="Your Character Name">
<input type="hidden" name="cs" value="1">
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD">
<input type="hidden" name="tax" value="0">
<input type="image" src="images/paypal2.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="Donate!">

and the only change you need to make is the very first line, change to:

$paysite=""; // $paysite=getsetting("paypalemail","");

Thanks a lot.  Cheesy

I'm still new to all of this, but I'm getting there slowly.  Cool
