This is a pack of races it includes :
Centaur,Cyclops,Drakling,Dwarf,Elf,Harpy,Human,Imp,Minotaur,Orc,Troll,Vampire

Simple Leveling System Description :
Each race gets an initial benefit(which could include a buff,Current Hp bonus, extra turns, extra PVP's all of which is admin settable).
This initial benefit will then be modified based on the players race level, the amount that it increases per level is also admin settable.

Formula works out to be something like this-
(racelevel*benetfitsperlevelup)+initialbenefits

Purpose of the leveling system :
The Leveling System is designed to strengthen the bond between players and races, because it makes it so the more you use the race the stronger you are with that race.

How it could potentially be unbalanced:
The default settings are based on a game that has been made more difficult to compensate for the racial benefits, but if used properly and modified accordingly to fit an individuals game it should pose no problem.

Differences between Core and RacePack:
All the races that are the same as the core, are loosely based on them. Just borrowed a bit of context from them.
This will replace core races.

General info :
Players will level up after winning an admin settable amount of battles.
The amount of levels that can be gained is admin settable
No cities are included...hometowns are admin settable

Race Specifics :
Minotaur - Can only be choosen by male players.
Harpy - Can only be choosen by female players.

Can you be somewhat more descriptive on the levelling system and how it affects game balance?  What are the differences between the races in this pack and the core races by the same name?  Do they replace the core races?

edit:  Thanks...makes a lot more sense now  Smiley

the supplemental info has also been added to the description in the file sharing area so that an admin will be better informed regarding what they are downloading.  Smiley

why don't ye do that? open a module which has a "race with its own city" copy the appropriate lines of code into the file for the race ye want to have a city.

voila!

Some of the races stop leveling before they are maxed out... it shows that they have more than enough kills to level the race up, yet it will not level like it should... any ideas?

So far the Vampire race is the worst too break...

Please It is important.

I saw you posted this on another thread the same thing - most people around here would probably decline to give you the code outright, unless you gave us evidence that you've tried yourself Wink Also deeming "important" is not the way it works - people offer their time and knowledge, irrespective if its "important" to you.

Take a look through the races modules, and select one that comes with a city, or even the default races, they have cities. If you identify the parts of the code that contains the cities part, and let us know what you think you should do with it, we can point you into the right direction Smiley

(Just, when you do, make sure to post your thoughts into the Coding Support Desk)
