:sighs:

im not trying to argue, but when did this grammar craze come over the whole world.

did like a brigade of English teachers use a mind molding device on every one to kill the ease and convenience of the internet?

That has nothing to do with it in fact the lack of punctuation is the very problem you mention ie ease and convenience except that we are talking about understanding and assisting you and I was quite clear in not demanding perfection as you can imagine it is completely irritiating and not to mention difficult to understand if someone spills out fifteen sentences all unbroken and without stopping to take a breath just imagine it were real life and you were in that situation and someone gasped this entire diatribe out without taking a breath by the time you got to the end you would have forgotten what the beginning of the rant was and it requires a lot of concentration to stop start again and make the effort to break the ideas up to try and digest them and in the end you are in an environment here in dragonprime where generally people are considerate and mature and prefer that conversation is understandable and legible now what on earth were we talking about back there did you know the human brain can only concentrate on three ideas at a time before having recall problems with the first thus you will find that generally respected writers will limit their sentences to three themes or ideas as they are aware that the comprehension declines when more than that are included in a single sentence.

We do ask people not to provide support via AIM and other direct ways, because it means that others with the same issue won't see the solution. I don't use Notepad++ but a lot here do and I am sure someone will know the answer to that one.

I am not aware of a module allowing you to keep your weapon. I think you're underestimating how much the imbalance will wreck your game. If a weapon costs a million gold then firstly, it was too expensive to begin. And secondly, nothing you can ever do will stop level 1 to be boring as batsh*t once they kill the dragon.

Tiny field mouse lunges and hits you for 2 hitpoints!
You hit Tiny field mouse for 238 points!

*** FLAWLESS FIGHT! ***

...over and over and people fall asleep.

You would be quite surprised. People don't generally get too mad at losing their weapons. In fact they find that it's a new challenge to begin once again. If you add to that by making new races and specialties and new shops appear once they reach that point, there will be new and interesting things to keep them enthused. That is much better for your game than handing them an easy kill and expecting them to still find the place challenging.

If you haven't done so already, I suggest the "Creating your first module" Tutorial over on the left. Once you have done it you should complete the area suggesting you make your own shop, charging for items etc. You might not think the shop is needed for your realm but in truth it doesn't matter, it is 100 times more important for actually teaching you skills. So for that reason don't skip over parts by saying, yeah I understand... actually *do* them. Smiley

The only module that I know of that will let you keep your weapons and armor is the estate storage module in which you can put them in at level 15 and get them back out at level 1 after you kill the dragon, I would love to create one for the dwellings systems but it is way out of my league.

Actually, I did something like this somewhere... it was a closet for the dwellings module... it had a LOT of restrictions to minimize abuse... but I think it was a bit customized for the server I was running it on.  You can take a look at it here as an attachment.

Here's the thing: This is the internet. We don't have the luxury of hearing tone of voice, hand gestures (Not one word, Rhea..Lol), emphasis and all that happy jazz. All we have is, wow, GRAMMAR.

Look at it this way: You're going to a job interview for a widely known, well respected, professional business. If you go wearing ripped jeans and a Nirvana t-shirt, you're not going to make  a very good impression. Likewise, if you post on a forum using massive run on sentences, as well as poor grammar, you're not going to make a very good impression, and other users are more likely to write you off as one who has no idea what they're talking about.

Shocked wow!  well i was joking.  but i just like to type what i need to say and submit it while i eagerley await to be able to proceed with what im doing.

well my million dollar weapon and armor give you turns favor everything plus 100.  and i mean if they dont wanna have it easy they wont buy it,  i would imagine.   but i would  like to make it so your able to do nonstop flawless and i day dks in about 15 minutes if you want to.   and if you dont you dont have too. so thats why im looking for a way to make you get your dk and your weapons are still in hand.

but thanks for your input if you come across a way then let me know

btw i guess i found out all you can save in on notepad++ is regular text or all files

so now i guess the question is how do i save as a php module or turn a text file into a php module?
and how do i save as other files like html documents for skins or how do i convert files?

thanks

I don't know how Notepad++ works in the save dialogue, but in Notepad, you can select "All files" or you can just put "filename.php" in quotes to do it. You might want to try that and see if it works.

hmmm in Notepad++ if you wish to save it as a php file, all you have to do is click all files, and when you are titling it, put filname.php in the title, then it will save as a php file, the same goes for HTML and CSS
so yes, saucy is right, but it is much easier to use a php editor then notepad. at least I think so.
