Well you have a very different function, from the original module. Considering that you do not have runmodule.php?module=petitionfixnavs&id=$id.. Did you mofiy it this way on purpose? Is there any op labeled for fixnav?

Oh, yeah, that. I changed 'default' to 'case fixnavs', to see if that worked. It didn't.

Do you have the injectcommentary() function in the lib/commentary.php ?

I don't know if I added that one to my core to add directly stuff or not. If you do not have this, then a call to an unknown function is your whitepage.

Also, it would be great to have your host to turn on error messages.

error_handling() in core can influence that too, check php.net

Yup!

The module actually INJECTS the commentary perfectly.. It posts what it's meant to, it just doesn't redirect back to the petition.

Also, it would be great to have your host to turn on error messages.

error_handling() in core can influence that too, check php.net
http://de3.php.net/manual/en/function.error-reporting.php

I've already sent them a ticket, and they say that there's nothing in the error log. But I'll check out this error_handling() later, too.

If you also have PHP as cgi extension, this could be the cause.

How do I tell the difference between whether it is or not? And what should PHP be for the error to not appear?

That... can be compared to running a motor in a waterboat or in a cruiser.
They might do the same (power the boat on water) but they are built differently.

you can check that using phpinfo(); in i.e.  rawsql->php

If you have no apache module compiled, but only in the cgi section, you have it as a cgi module.

I called the function, and noted: Server API: CGI/FastCGI..

Well, ok.

Try to get errorhandling working - then see what the error is.
Can't help you with CGI-php.

I'm assuming that means checking the Error Log in my cPanel.. That's all I could find. o.o And, when I use the module, nothing appears in the Error Log.

Edit: So, I was searching DP for similar problems, and my exact same problem can be found here..
