This module adds a new section to the Vital Stats Panel:

* Number of Dwellings
* Gold in all Coffers
* Gems in all Coffers
* Number of Guards
* How many turns until the next guard goes away

I hope you don't mind SexyCook, but I've altered your module to list all the individual dwelling types owned by the user, gold/gems in each, guards for each and a check for the upkeep module to show how many days left.

Is it ok if I release it to the forum? Smiley

Here's what it looks like so far.

Instead of showing 0 days left, I've used the number of hours in a game day. I suppose I could have worked out the exact hours to a new game day, but didn't want to be finicky. Smiley Coloured red as a warning, guard is about to run out, upkeep needs to be paid.

Option in user prefs to turn the dwelling stats off.

Just finishing off some tweaks then I'll post it here for people to check for problems. heh Cheesy

I've never written a module for LotGD so thought I'd start off with this as it's something simple as I learn my way around the functions. Smiley

If the upkeep module isn't installed then that part of the script wont be run and no upkeep text gets displayed. Smiley

Name: Dwelling Stats Display
Version: 1.3
Author: SexyCook, Modified by MarcTheSlayer
Category: Stat Display
Requires: dwellings.php v20060105 By Sixf00t4

The dwellings_pvp module is not required to be installed, but if it is then the guard days are displayed.
The upkeep module is not required to be installed, but if it then the upkeep days are displayed.

If either of the above modules are installed, please make sure that they are the latest version.

Please test this first on a test server before installing it live and let me know of any bugs/errors. Smiley

Edit: Found out that the Upkeep module has a master exempt option *and* an individual exempt option. Updated to v1.3 which now checks both. Also attached the file as well. Smiley

Edit 2: Version 1.4 can be found here. :-)

Nice update, MarcTheSlayer!!

I was trying to get to a point where I could get each individual row to come up separate, and assign variables to each item in each row...but could not do it the "right way" because I am not terribly good at this.

But I did manage to get where I wanted to go...using about 750 lines of code when a pro could have done it in 50 or less, no doubt.

Needed to do it so I could set prefs within the module, that could be called by a unique thing on my server.

I used The Item System to make a Stats Book.  I wanted to create a table in the Stats Book with all the Dwelling Types a player has.

I got there.  I am sure nobody wants to know how, since it is completely sloppy, and not at all the right way to do it.

But I did want to say this was a totally great add.

We all enjoy your enthusiasm, but the last post in this thread was a decade ago. Please revive old threads only if absolutely necessary, or start a new thread if you have an issue with a module.

Apologies.
I never know when to post in an old thread or start a new one...every time I start a new one, someone yells at me about an old thread...and then when I post in an old thread like this, I get yelled at for not making a new thread.

Damned if I do and damned if I don't.
