Well, I got them into my game and I've got a minor problem....Shocked)

$rp = $session['user']['pqrestorepage'];
      $x = max(strrpos("&",$rp),strrpos("?",$rp));
      if ($x>0) $rp = substr($rp,0,$x);
      if (substr($rp,0,10)=="badnav.php" or substr($rp,0,10)=="newday.php"){
         addnav("Continue","village.php");
      }else{
         addnav("Continue",preg_replace("'[?&][c][=].+'","",$rp));
      }

this part should take me back to my previous location. database stores my previous location and then it should get me back where i was.  the problem is, when i click the continue  link, it throws me to badnav.php and loops me there.....

i solved this by making the continue link go to village.php, but now i'm working on more places to go and it would be annoying that it always returns me to the village....

any ideas?

thanks

I'm sorry I didnt read through the potion code.. But where is it updating the 'pqrestorepage' in the database.

At first glance the code should work unless it isn't setting the restorepage, which would cause an issue.

If you have your game in a subdirectory named anything other than /logd/ then that will cause the problem that you are having.  In common.php the potion mod has the directory name /logd/ set.  You will need to change that if you are using another directory name.  Look for the line:
Code:
$currentpage=str_replace("/logd/","",$currentpage);

Are you running a 1.0.6 game, or .97?  Do you have the right version module for your game?  The two are not compatible.

You have to "REM" that line. Checkevent is a function specifical of Lonny's server, so unless you obtain it from Lonny it's totally useless for you.

Yes you can safely comment out the checkevent(); like this
// checkevent();

If you were using Lonny's Castle, the check event is included as it is used when someone jumps from a castle tower or dumps water onto someone standing below.

the following snippet is from lonny's castle:
// begin
function checkevent(){
  global $session;
  if ($session[user][pqevent] <> ""){
      $message=$session[user][pqevent];
      output("`4`bSpecial Event:`b `& $message `0`n");
      $session[user][pqevent]="";
  }
}
// end

If you plan on using several of lonnys mods it may be easier for you to add the code snippet - as it does appear in other mods he wrote.
If you plan on using it - you could add it to common.php
