It's a joke until there is code and acceptance by a significant following. The only thing behind "iamsure" is an empty web site. He/she has no identity!!!!
Umm, not even close..

We already have multiple branches of development, and have begun modifying 0.97 - so we have code. Browse at will: http://svn.berlios.de/viewcvs/dragonsaga/

We have multiple developers, and already have solid discussions on the development forums, despite being *6* days old.

As to who I am, the top 6 or 7 google results are all actually me, and are really quite informative. I've been on the net for quite a while, and worked on a variety of projects including Blacknova Traders, The Kabal Invasion, Adodb, Redhat, Fedora, and more.

If you google my legal name ("L. Patrick Smallwood"), you'll find yet more information on me.

The project is real, I'm real, and now you are just being stubborn and difficult. The project was founded on berlios March 28th, not April 1st, and while I announced it here on April 1st, so was 1.0 - And I dont see you claiming *IT* is a joke or not real!

The site is there, the code is there, the development is occuring, and its very much not a joke.

"There are many decaffinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing".

UPDATE: Cant resist to comment that this comes from a person named "NotSoMyT", with no substantial profile information, *9* posts, and a website link to a generic game. Pot, meet kettle.

Hey L. Patrick Smallwood, there is only hit in google pointing back to the same web site listed in your post. All records of you are less than a week old. The trees in your developement web site are less than 24 hours old. Who are you trying kid?

What crack are you smoking?

Search on L. Patrick Smallwood:
http://sourceforge.net/users/iamsure/  ( Site Member Since:     2002-04-28 16:44)
http://blacknova.outpost10f.com/credits.php
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=mozclient&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&q=%22L+patrick+Smallwood%22 (a post from over 3 years ago)

Search on iamsure:
http://www.advogato.org/person/iamsure/ (blog from over 2 years ago)
http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewprofile;user=iamsure (HA! Note the full profile of information!!)
http://savannah.nongnu.org/users/iamsure (Active member for over 3 years)

Seriously, what searches were you doing?

UPDATE:
And obviously the trees in that development tree are going to be less than a week old, WE JUST STARTED THE PROJECT.

If you want to see an old tree, feel free to visit my project at TKI: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/kabalinvasion/

Also note my IM information, which hasnt changed in over 3 years, and the fact that I am online.

Enough.

Way to welcome someone with new ideas to the community.  Good job.  Roll Eyes

Before you start judging, and bringing your negativity to this forum, give the guy a chance to get his project rolling.  I don't know what lays behind your hostility, but I'd suggest you keep it in check.

Wow what a rollercoaster this ride this thread has been.
I wasn't expecting to see iamsure in this forum but I am realizing the world of developers is smaller than i thought Smiley
The Kabal Invasion is an excellent rendition of the original BNT as I have been following it and serving it for some time now. I have been registered over at the TKI forums and found iamsure to be very professional in all aspects and I foresee the same in any of his projects.

If he states he is undertaking a project he is to be taken seriously.
