There's a yet easier way to get what you want.

Not to toot my own horn (I can't.  I play the violin), but I did that in my version of the instant banking module.
http://dragonprime.net/index.php?module=Downloads;sa=dlview;id=988

On the last page that gives output you'll need something along these lines:
Code:
page_header("An optional page title as a parameter");
output("Some example output.  For instance: Your gold has been banked!");
/* Anything else you want to happen before showing the forest */
require_once("lib/forest.php");
forest(true);
page_footer();

The forest() function (found in lib/forest.php) outputs the forest navigation links.  By using true as a parameter, you suppress the usual description of the forest that goes along with them (eg. "The Forest, home to evil creatures and evildoers of all sorts...").

If you want to show your output as well as the description of the forest, instead of calling forest(true), instead use forest(false) or, because of PHP magic, forest().

(Psst... PyRoDuDe... did you "read through" the tutorial or do it? Actually doing it is a valuable exercise. Only experienced code megageeks should have to just read it, and that's simply to see the LoGD conventions. If more than the conventions are new to you, actually doing the tutorial would be a good idea. Again, not because I think you don't understand what's happening, but because the practice will do you good.)

Thanks DaveS... I hadn't even clicked that it was in the wrong format (special vs shop). And yes... specials have their header and footer done automatically for them, and the fact that it was in the wrong format meant the header and footer were missing... dun dun dun, white screen =)
