I've been working on a new site where people can come and play, rate, and dish open source games. I have looked at a lot of different types of games and have installed a few and have failed to install a bunch! I have to say besides one other game LOTGD has been the easiest to install and manage. Thank you for putting in so much time and effort into this game. Thank you for the continuous improvement made to all aspects of the game. Last but not least thank you for listening to us when we see a bug or have a feature request.

Great work!

What is this site?

The Open Source Gaming Network -

I just got the domain and a new host two weeks ago. It's not much to look at and there is not much content just yet. I would consider it extreme beta if it were a program. Heck I haven't even replaced the default logo yet!

Edit: The point of my first post was not to draw attention to my site. It was just to thank the game developers and this great community for their hard work and dedication. The part that I didn't add to my first post that might give people more insight on why I posted this was I just got through  trying to install a certain open source game that will remain nameless that has more bugs than what I have ever seen before. This game has two installers one old and one new. The old one is still in the code and the documentation points you to it. The documentation directs you to edit a file that isn't in the location it says it is and is named completely different that what the documentation states. I could go on and on with the issues I found but I won't bore everyone with the details. The bad thing is that the developers of the game are aware of the issues but refuse to do anything about them.

Fair enough.  Either way, I'll probably follow the development of your site.

i've thought about doing something like this since last year.. and i've found some nice open source games to use for the site, but i don't have resources to pay for a hosting and domain so i never really got it going.
