Searched for this but couldn't find the thread, so I guess I may as well make it...

Anyway, I wish to add the store Zeratul runs to the rock. I have added the hook to the Zeratul module but my headache makes it hard to think.

Why am I working on code with a headache? I have nothing else to do and If I don't do something I'll drive myself insane.

I assume your problem is that it isn't appearing? If so..

In the install() function, add:
Code:
module_addhook('footer-rock');

In the dohook() function's switch() function, add:
Code:
case 'footer-rock':
    addnav('Zeratuls Shop', '<insert link here>');
break;

Remind me to come back to this when it's not nearly 1am and sleepy yet can't sleep.

I just need to allow me to pick the Curious Rock as a village input without making it a village. I'll try your method when my mind isn't in lala land.

Okay, trying this out now... What am I chucking in the "<insert link here>" spot again? I have no idea what I am doing with it... I want to have this module ready for my first few dkers, so I'm doing this whilst tired and having a headache from next doors powertools going on all day.

Nevermind. Staring at the code long enough, I saw what needed to be done.

Everything is good. How ever, I had the issue of it showing in the Rock AND in the village. Now, to get around that, I commented out the village case and the option to pick what village it should up, thus it only show up at the rock. Also, in the run event folder, make sure to edit the run event since it uses the village location and manually type in where the store is. Done!

Interesting approach...setting it to appear only at The Curious Rock.  I sorta like the idea.

Personally, my towns were getting rather crowded, so i moved some modules to the Dwellings area of towns (a backdoor way of doing "Streets" as it were...and some I also moved to The Gardens.

Nice to know you could also move some things to The Rock...there are a couple of modules that might make sense being located there.

One thing I did with Zeratul...just because I could...was that you can see which Crystals yoou have without going to his shop.  It requires the Item System, but you get the items when he gives you the corresponding Crystal and takes it away when yu cash in your Crystal(s)

So you can look in your Item Inventory and see your Crystals.
