Name: Novelty Accounts
Author: Aeolus
Version: 1.3
Category: Lodge
Compatible: Tested and used on 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 (should work on any 1.x.x)
Settings:
  • Donation points required for Novelty Account
  • Block Novelty Account names from being use in regular account creation

Description: Reserves certain user names for Donators, who can then buy the account from the Lodge, and this request can be accepted/declined by an admin (only with Megauser flag). Blocks users from creating regular accounts with a Novelty Account username.

I doubt it wouldn't work. The changes between 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 are minimal (changelog). So without looking at the code, I'd have to say there's no reason it shouldn't. Of course, test it on the test server first.

I don't have a 1.1.1 server, so I wasn't able to test it on a 1.1.1, that's why I didn't know. xD

Version 1.2: (Available in the File Submission)
  • New Link to allow Megausers/Novelty Accounts Editors to 'gift' Novelty Accounts to Unregistered Users (i.e. the Novelty Account would be their primary account), or Existing Users.
  • Changed all table headers to use the translate_inline() function.
  • Empty tables have a row saying "No Novelty Accounts", or similar as to what their function's do.
  • Sorted the navs in a more sensible order.
  • Added navs in the Lodge option to the SU editor, and vice versa.
