Online Character List v1.3.2 (Rewritten)

Based on the module Alternative Sorting v1.2 by Christian Rutsch and modded later by Seekey.

Requires the "stafflist" module v1.2 by Red Yates which is a core module

The names of players that are shown as online on the homepage. With this rewrite you can have a staff section, a donators section, and a newest section. Empty sections can be hidden. Donators/staff can show as normal players if they so choose.

Changes:
08/10/09 - v1.3.0
+ Added pref so staff or donators can show as normal players if they want to.
25/04/11 - v1.3.1
+ Added a bunch settings and made some small alterations for them.
+ Now gets the staff players from the 'stafflist' module instead of superuser flags.
16/11/2011 - v1.3.2
+ 2 missing db_query() lines. Found by Megan.

Yes, 2009, decided to make it public. :-P

Please post feedback, bugs, etc.

Zip file attached.

Though now I'm disappointed cause people won't use my modification for using the stafflist, cause your mod is better... Tongue

What modifications did you make to the staff list module, where's the thread for it? Cheesy

All it did was switched it from using superuser value to using the stafflist...
I think it's attached to a post in the module's discussion thread...*goes to check*
Oh, it's here.

You basically took Afkamm's code from that thread and added it to the onlinelist module.

I DID NOT! I wrote that myself. I didn't even notice Afkamms code.
Plus, as people obviously didn't understand, I WAS JOKING!
I'm not seriously upset.

Without looking at the file, I'm going to guess that you need to change
db_fetch_assoc()
to
db_fetch_assoc($result)
on line 57, which is in the install function...

Edit: Having now actually looked, it looks like:

$sql "SELECT acctid, SUM(amount)

FROM "
db_prefix('paylog') . "

GROUP BY acctid"
;

$donator_array = array();

while(
$row db_fetch_assoc($result2) )
can/should be changed to:

$result db_query("SELECT acctid, SUM(amount)

FROM "
db_prefix('paylog') . "

GROUP BY acctid"
);

$donator_array = array();

while(
$row db_fetch_assoc($result) )

I wondered what the point of
donator_array = array();
was...
Otherwise the only difference between yours and mine was that you created two variables where one would suffice. Tongue
