Hi there...

If you feel that you are a competent coder, and are willing to give me a quick hand tracking down a fleeting problem on my server, please PM me.  Getting an occasional badnav, and I really can't seem to find it myself!  Thanks so much!

What's the url of the link that you click to get the badnav?

I think it's in either village or in newday.  I'm having a hard time with it.  I *do* know that it happens when you return from the forest and are "truant".  It also happens on a newday.

We talking about getting the badnav page because of a faulty link, or a white page caused by a php error?

A pure white page means a php code error. If you have access to your server's error logs through Plesk or CPanel then the file at fault will be listed in there. If you don't then contact your host and see if they can give you the file.

Because it goes away and doesn't happen every newday, tells me that it's probably a "newday-runonce" problem and the error is probably something simple like a misspelt function name.

You could start searching for modules that hook to "newday-runonce" and examining the "newday-runonce" hook code, but if it is a misspelling then it'll be very hard to find.

Well, as much as I wanted to avoid it, I'm just going to reinstall.  That's what test servers are for.

Thanks so much for your time, though.  Appreciate it.

Um, if you don't know which module is causing the problem, you're only going to reinstall it without realising it.
