Allowed Core Change? (General Query)

I know I have been viewed as a ToS violator before and do not want to do it again.  I am not sure if this next core change will be allowed or not.. Soo.. That is why I am laying out this general question.

Would I be allowed to redo the ListModules of the about.php area? (For those of you who do not know.. it is in ./lib/about/about_listmodules.php) What I would do is remove the colum for downloading. HOWEVER I would put a 'download' icon next to each module's version number, if the module has a download link. Then I would put an asterisk next to those that are broken linked or a core module, with a footnote declaring that those who want the modules can go to Dragonprime (as a link) and use the downloads section or the quick search function.

I did not want to violate any terms here, and something in the back of my head told me to ask before leaping.

I find it more than a little ironic that you're worried whether or not this change is a violation when the default skin on your site is a complete violation.

You MUST restore the footer information on each page, and you MUST do it IMMEDIATELY.  Removing the license link/information and authorship credits are both critical violations of the terms of use.

Your site is currently in violation of the license.

Don't see any download links in your revamped modules list.
