has two questions.....

1.) Is there a way to make it so the only people allowed to see the "apply for clan" option are staff or when you click it say something like "you aren't staff so you cant apply for a clan today.  please check back later and see if you can then.  thanks"

2.) Is there a way to make it so staff alts don't show up on the staff list?

1) Write a module that hooks into footer-clan and blocks it for non-staff

2) They should only be showing up in the staff list if someone gave them a non-zero weight. Give them a zero weight.

In user-editor, administrative modules, you find a link to "stufflist". In the very first line, "Arbitrary ranking number (higher means higher on list)" give him or her 0.

just want to mention to darkness that your icon is awesome and fyi the staff alts have zeros.  i meant on the login in screen they are showing up as staff.  i want to stop it there

well take away the alts staff powers then,
a char with staff powers will show as staff when online,
simple as

why list them on the staff list at all? for them to show ye have to physically add them to the list. unless something has changed.

@Elessa: I think she's talking about the online characters list, not staff list. She just has it separated into staff and regular player sections.

@SaraDayBella: If the alts are for playing, strip off their superuser flags. A playing alt with superuser flags looks like a potential cheater to your regular players. If they need backup superuser accounts, let those be separate.
