Just an event in the graveyard where you find a pile of bodies - I've been told it works. Just to add some more flavour to being dead.

Feedback appreciated of course.

Worked well on my server, Sneak. Looks good. Might be a little unbalanced, since it has the goods of Stonehenge, but, being dead, can't quite have the same bads. Maybe consider a negative buff on newday as a possible result. Or even, a loss of some/all turns.

Aye, I'll add some more events to it soon which'll make it nastier.

Woo! I'm liking what I see, Sneak. I've been triggering it on Deimos' dev server, looks good.

Fix your linkage =)

Just finished the next version - contains a couple of evil surprises, I'm just in the tail end of testing the thing to be sure it works as it should.

EDIT: Right, it now works properly, contains a lot more things in it and should hopefully be worth yer time downloading. Same link as at the top of this thread to download the file.

OK, version 1.2 is reasonably done, adds a village encounter to the special and some other details, I'll put it up under http://dragonprime.net/users/Sneakabout/scavenge1_2.txt so ye'll need to rename it to scavenge for it to work.

I've only tested it short, but I overflow the source and think its nice Wink

But can you split the long textes to more outputs? That would make the translation easier Smiley

Errr.... why would splitting the outputs make it easier? Its still a block of descriptive text I'm afraid.....

If there are passages, that the translator don't know, he could go on with the next and when the block to translate is so big, you sooner jump over the block, trust me Cheesy
And this isn't realy a big change, or? Wink You could 'fix' it with the next release, if there is one. Smiley

Aye, I am planning a 1.3, so I may well split up the output blocks then, possibly within the next few days. I'm hoping to add a forest special to it, as well as making it possible for some outcomes to succeed in the "Flee the Pit" event, based on class/race etc.

A moment ago I 'died' by, I've forgotten Cheesy on the graveyard through your module, would be nice if this is mentioned in the news Smiley

Two things:
-if you make a lillte mistake in the output(worng spelling or wrogng color espacially after a ") and you fix it, the translation will be broken, but if the output is short, it's not as bad as if it's long
-fix your download link in the module Wink

Another reason to split up output (I suggest on sentances or on short quotes of small number of sentances) is that if you use the same sentance in multiple places it will only need to be translated once. Smiley

OK, today I'll get round to doing the output stuff today then... as well as adding news events for the torn apart by zombies results (I musta forgotten to put them in)....

EDIT: Right new version is now up under the scavenge1_2 label (still needs to be renamed once you upload it to work), outputs split on sentence boundaries, news events for more results and the download link fixed . All hunky dory now I think.
