ok playing with item editor and figuring out buffs

so i THINK this is right

Message each round accepst no modifiers i.e. {damage} its just flavor text

wear off message is also flavor text played at end of last round

Effect message is the one that takes modifiers i.e. {damage} and such for each round

effect no damage is for damage attacks that roll 0?

and effect fail is for misses?

regen is points per round, is it possible to scale this?

minion count, multiplies rolls per round for the min/max badguy damage ?

lifetap . . . . havnt made sense of this one
damage shield [opponent attack] x [multiplier] dealt back to opponent

also what are some of the "common" fileds in messages that can be used i.e. {damage}

you can use in

startmsg {badguy}
roundmsg {badguy}
roundmsg {damage} {badguy}

for minioneffects:
/*
effectfailmsg
effectnodmgmsg
effectmsg

{badguy} {damage} {goodguy}
*/

for lifetaps:
/*
effectmsg
effectfailmsg
effectfailmsg

{badguy} {creature}
*/

for damageshield:
/*
effectmsg
effectnodmgmsg
effectfailmsg

{badguy} {creature}
*/

wearoff {badguy}

and everything else you have installed in battle.php on features.  Smiley

For example, my Users can also give their mounts a name and see them in each message

$msg = str_replace("{mountname}", $session['user']['mountname'], $msg);
