I'm not sure what the cause or solution to this is, so I figured if I posted it here someone else might have more of a clue.

One of my users is having problems when he beats his master, the problem occured previously when he was level 14, so I just edited his level to 15 (and all the other relevant bits) and let him carry on.  I figured it was a one off and it didn't happen again.

But now it has, this time he's level 8 and can't reach level 9 for the same reason.

When he beats his master, he gets the following mySQL error (sorry it stretches the screen, but thats the way life goes)

I have no clue whats wrong or what I can do other than manually edit his level again, any help would be appreciated.

edit: thanks for the help :-)

I had a similar problem with users recently.  If you are using the race & skills mod then you need to check the following:

Code:
in common.php find:
function increment_specialty()

make sure the $skills line looks like this:
$skills = array(1=>"darkarts","magic","thievery","mystic","tactic","rockskin","rhetoric","muscle","nature","weather");

Thats where my problem was anyway.  Let us know if that works. Smiley

That looks to be the problem, as I see in the sql query the player's specialty is 8, but it only updates thievery, magic, and dark arts usage. Sounds like other specialties were not added thoroughly.
You may also want to remove the player's password from your post.

that's most odd... I haven't got any speciality mods, I use the original three.  He must have picked that up from some other mod I installed without me noticing :S

time to go searching I guess.
