I was woundering how hard it would be to make a tax mod. What I had in mind was something that would set a different tax ammount in each city and some how record the ammount the people of the town have been taxed.
Then once say a certian ammount has been reached, then add a new feature or building to the town.

I wanted to to have multible towns set up and have the players decide where they want to live. Then over time the city or town with the most people would all in all be the bigest of them all. I'd like to set it to where the towns don't have much at the start of a new game and the players decide how large the town get I guess.

Like maybe, the town has a Bar, Inn, weapons, and armor shops but thats it. Then to get the houses mod and stable. they would have to earn them trought the tax mod.

Hope this makes since. I have a lot of ideas running through my head lol.

Its no doubt an excellent idea.

I'm sure you couldnt get it to just generate a php file and add city objects... You could have the files there, and add the tax to all purchases. Then on newday check:

City Tax vs City Tax Number needed for new area

or..

just make it addnavs to that area once the tax number gets to a certain point.. More or less do it like you would add areas for amounts of DK a user has.

Except, make every purchase go towards 1 number, no matter the user.
