I've tried referring to index page with this link:
http://darkdagur.com/gd/index.php
and I get page not found. Are you sure you have uploaded everything in right place ?

Supposedly. I know it's there, but I don't know why it won't show up Sad. I've downloaded it off my site to make sure, and it was there. I don't know why this isn't working Cry.

http://darkdagur.com/gd/logd-0.9.7-php/index.php   that is where it's at, currently. I was told I had to keep it in the original folder (logd-0.9.7-php).

Check the file dbconnect.php, maybe there's something wrong in it conected with $DB_PASS. Check that the password for your DB is the same as it is in this file.

I hope this help

*** EDIT ***
It seems you miss something into the DB ... this is the msg I get from the last link:

Table 'gd_darkdagur_com.setting s' doesn't exist[/b]

How do I fix that? I've never installed anything like this before, and it's just confusing me. I've installed phpbb and you just run an actual php page that does that kind of stuff for you, I think. I don't even know what gd_darkdagur_com.setting s is. gd_darkdagur_com is my database though.

Well, I'll try to explain from my poor knowledge of MySQL. settings is a table from LoGD DB, other table are accounts, mounts, weapons just to give you an idea. You need to run logd.sql into your PHPMyAdmin to create all the tables needed to run LoGD.
If yours is a fresh install, you shouldn't need anything else.

Let me know if it works.

That's the thing, I have never seen PHPMyAdmin before. Is it supposed to be provided by my webhost?

PS Sorry I'm such a n00b

For basic support on installing the game, check the admin section at http://lotgd.net/forum, as the DragonPrime forum is not intended to provide basic user support.  I know for a fact that there is a rather lengthy thread there which covers this very topic.

To answer your question, your webspace provider should provide you with some means of accessing and controlling your mysql database.  Although phpmyadmin is most common, there are other tools out there.  You will need to look at your management interface or contact your webspace provider for assistance.

Finally, don't apologize for being a noob - we were all noobs once upon a time...gotta start somewhere!  Wink

Yeah, sorry, I didn't know I wasn't supposed to make a topic like this. Anyway, you can go ahead and close/delete this thread if you want.
