I think you put all files from the marriage module in the modules folder and did not copy the main marriage.php to the modules dir and the marriage folder just there too.

you have to delete all the files manually and upload it again *with* directory structure.

I tried that. It then(in the game) says Warning: main(lib/buffs.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/38/d154291826/htdocs/lotgd-1.0.6/common.php on line 51

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'lib/buffs.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /homepages/38/d154291826/htdocs/lotgd-1.0.6/common.php on line 51

When I was uploading these files, I originally uploaded them to the lib, directory(by accident).

It will also ask for the pageparts.php file.

in the /lib there won't be a harm, but don't move the rest of the lib files around...

upload the lib folder anew, there files are required by the core.

/modules <---put in there the marriage.php
/modules/marriage <--put in there the content of the marriage folder in the zip file

then it should run.

usually (rare exceptions) you have to upload the entire content of a module in a zip file *exactly as it is, with structure) to your modules directory.

Apologies for digging up an old(ish) thread, but I've been toiling to setup a new version of lotgd for my server (a way overdue project) and am experiencing a similar problem with the marriage module to the one mentioned here. I downloaded what I thought was the newest version of marriage available from here, but when I try to access the marriage wing through the Old Church I get the error:

Code:
Fatal error: marriage_run(): Failed opening required './modules/marriage/oldchurch.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/shrineof/public_html/dragon/modules/marriage.php on line 57

This problem only seems to occur when hooking into the oldchurch module and not when using the standalone bluerock chapel. If anyone could let me know what the cause of this problem is, or perhaps direct me to a more recent version of the marriage module I would be greatly appreciative.

have ye looked in the file sharing area in the new system, under miscellaneous?  i see two marriage modules there for download.  perhaps one of those is what ye seek.

I redownloaded the overhauled marriage module from "User Modules (New System)" and reinstalled it, but the error persists.  Sad

If someone could tell me exactly where to get the latest version marriage module so that I can make sure that I'm not simply downloading the wrong version or something, I'd appreciate it.

Sorry for the annoyance.  Undecided

No need to excuse.

You found a valid bug =)

redownload or change the last function in the marriage.php to:

Code:
function marriage_run(){
global $session;
require_once("modules/marriage/marriage_func.php");
$op = httpget('op');
if ($op==''|| $op=='chapel' || $op=='oldchurch') require("./modules/marriage/general.php");
else
require("./modules/marriage/$op.php");
}
