I want to set up a second game but I dont want to get rid of the old one.  My questions are...how do I go about doing this without deleting the old game? Can i do this on the same mysql account?

If your account allows multiple databases, setup a new database for each installation.

If you are limited to a single database, you need to specify a prefix for each installation.  This will prevent conflicts between the various installations.  You specify the prefix during your installation.
