Author Topic: advertising module where do I put the ads?  (Read 4194 times)

Im using the advertising module which is part of the core.  I dont see anywhere in the module it self, or the setup of it.  Where to put the ads?  Ive checked the FAQ and searched the foums as well.  What am I missing?

There is NOTHING in the module settings about where to put the ads... you can chose the sizes but that sit.  It's like something is missing.  Nice of you to reply even though you dont know.

Contained within each of the modules, advertising_google, advertising_amazon and advertising_splitreason are module settings. You need to enter in your tracking id for the amazon and splitreason. For the google, you need to enter in your tracking id, tracking format and tracking colour. You need to create the accounts with each provider, acquire the id and then apply it to the module settings of the individual modules.

Or you can just skip all that and hardcode the ad code into the html templates, and be elite while you're at it. Cheesy

Where I'm suposed to find this tracking Id, tracking format and tracking color?

I have filled in the Tracking ID, Tracking Format and Tracking color, it only displays a blank space, and no ads banners.
Why is this so?  Huh
