Based on the code for Abandoned Castle by Lonnyl

Description:
Second of the Signet Elemental Dungeon series. The dungeons are based on a game from 1985 called Phantasie. Use the teleporters to get around... but be careful because danger lurks in the coffins!  Visit the High Priest and get closer to solving the mystery of the Elemental Signets!

a user on my site went into the aarde temple, he clicked on scroll 1 and got a description for the aria's dungeon. when he clicked on return, he got in the wasser's castle and got stuck. there seems to be no map or anything. he completed the aria's dungeon on version 3.01, maybe that's the problem?

V3.12

Added a "chance to heal" in the module.  After fights, players have a chance to find a healing potion.

Here's the details to how this works:
If the player has <60% of their max hitpoints after they defeat a monster, they have a chance of something happening.
1 in 13 gives a big heal up to 200 hps or their maximum
2 in 13 gives a medium heal of 30-70% of the amount of hitpoints they are down, up to 120 hps
3 in 13 gives a small heal of 10-40% of the amount of hitpoints they are down, up to 50 hps
1 in 13 hurts them by 10-40% of their remaining hitpoints, up to 50 hps
6 in 13 does nothing.

This is a setting, so if you don't like it you don't have to use it!

I had a user report the following:

[description] = I think there\'s a bug in the aarde temple. When you donate gold to
a monk (1000 gold) it shows a minus figure on your gold in hand. I had 1070 gold and
i donated and it showed -930 gold on hand. It has done that twice now. Just keeping
you updated in case there are some faults in the programming

From the numbers he gave, it sounds as if he actually donated twice, if that's possible.  Either way, there whould be a check in place to ensure the player has enough gold to donate...

Version 3.13

Okay, the problem wasn't missing a check for the gold (I have those in there).

It was that those pesky priests got greedy.  They wanted to take twice as much money for a donation than they are supposed to get.

I have had a chat with them and they have agreed ONLY to accept the amount of money that the player agrees to pay instead of trying to take double the amount.

(Want to know the real error? I had repeated the line:
$session['user']['gold']-=$costalign;
twice.  The update removes the repeat.)

I got this in a petition:

he's on Wasser right now, his prefs say that he has completed Aarde Temple, but the link still shows for him.
not sure exactly whats going on with that or why it did that...

Ohhh... bummer for him on that one!

I wonder what the heck happened with that.

I will be releasing a new patch soon with a lot of tweaks and I'll fix this one.

I think the error is on  line 495...

this should be a pretty rare event to happen in the next day until I release a full patch upgrade...
