Hey guys... so far, i've only used the mount editor for creating basic mounts. I was wondering how to create a mount that would boost the player's charm and change their sex from male to female for as long as they owned the mount (possibly permenant for the sex change... kind of like a curse, where they would have to buy a potion to change back).

This may be pretty simple, but so far I haven't been able to get it to work. Any ideas?

Hmm... I don't know if this is possible via the Mount Editor.

However, I would recommend that you make a module that hooks to prefs-mounts, so you can access it via the editor, then have some random mount curses on there. Have a check at newday if that mount they own has a curse, then apply it.

To increase the charm, enter the following into the regen field (for example):
Code:
<charm>++; return 0;

for changing the sex: this is more difficult... You could modify their sex *every* round... or set their sex to a specific sex. e.g. the pink, fluffy pony always makes you female:
Code:
<sex>=0; return 0;

This _should_ work... <$val> is replaces by $session['user']['$val'] and then the whole expression is eval()'d... The "return 0;" is necessary, so you don't accidently use the new value (for example 42 for charm...) after evaluation...

Hmm... it works, but not quite the way I was hoping it would. I'll keep tinkering with it. If all else fails, I'll just write a Mount editor add on like Sichae suggested.

To increase the charm, enter the following into the regen field (for example):
Code:
<charm>++; return 0;

The problem with this is that charm (or whatever other val you decide to use) is increased every page hit (whether it's in battle or just moving around) for the duration of the mount buff. Is there a way to restrict what it's supposed to do in battle only (in other words, only when the buff is decremented)? Otherwise, someone with a mount with the above buff would be able to get as much charm as they like simply by clicking on random navs...

While on the topic of mounts, I was also wondering if it is possible to use module SETTINGS for mount buffs. For example, a mount buff that fluctuates in tune with the cycle of the moons on your server, or the weather, etc.
