Is there a way to change the real day : game day proportion to be less than 4 h . Or said otherwise , where , or what should I change so that the game day becomes 1 or 2 h
Can this be done by simpple setting , or should I change a variable in the source ?

Some core changes to configuration.php which are for several reasons - discussed at length before - not recommended.

You might end up burning out your players, which will result in them leaving your server. If they are feeling bored, try giving them extra turns, but by decreasing the amount of hours in a day is a no-no in server management.

What do you mean by burning out ? It is a bit hard to understand what you mean from my lame point of view.I am well aware that the machine will be heavily "pushed" to use more resources ... Is this what u mean ?

No, I mean that the players will eventually get tired of playing on a server in which everything is fed to them. Like any game, burning out is a major obstacle in development. This is why the game was set up with that range.

It's not the machine... It's your players who will burn-out.

Playing with 1-hour-days is fun on the first day, maybe on the second and for some even on the third. (Some beings might also find it funny too play this for one or two weeks..)

But after that, they will know everything and every trick... And will be bored. Leaving your server alone and abandoned...

Well , you're quite right .Every game is boring after the 1000th time you play it.But it is a beginner's server and few people will prefer it at first if it is not easier than the others , because most servers in my country use the same modules , and everybody literally already knows everything.Yet I am very thankfull for the info Cheesy I am plainning to switch it to 4 h after I get some visitors.

That question has already been answered on this forum, so I would suggest using the Search Tool or looking around.

If there was a possible way to merge them (which I doubt) , you could have done it.But I guess one of the threads would be closed . I'm thankful for the info , though Cheesy
