Hi all,

after searching the forum I've decided to switch over to VizaWeb because my old hoster had a short hiccup now and then..

but since I've changed to Vizaweb's Pro Plus plan on the 20th of december things are getting worser and worser and today the server where I'm hosted went down almost the whole day without any notice from VizaWeb.

ok, i know that the have problems with the Apache daemon and that they are working on it and rebooting the server from time to time... but I know this because I know how to check logs and service status signals of an external monitoring service.

but hey I had expected to see a message on their site or to receive a mail with a short status...

Am I the only one, experiencing problems with VizaWeb, or am I just to impatient?

Sorry, but I have to be, I'm still in the "30days money back" periode, so i need to sort things out pretty fast..

Is there another reliable hoster with similar services for similar money?

I need (currently) ~15 MySQL DB's and 10 Domains using 1GB of diskspace with a lousy amount of data transfered each month Wink

Thank you and happy new year

Mindbender

p.s. I really feel sorry for the poor support staff, sorting out server issues on new years eve....

I'm on a very inexpensive plan with LunarPages - It's damned fast, I've never had downtime, I have unlimited databases, etc. The only thing I am unsure about is your bunch of domains. I'd suggest getting in contact with them to find out what they offer. The website has info on the plans available too.

ok, thank you SaucyWench,

things are getting even worser on the server where i'm located.
The Forum of the hoster shows that I'm not the only one with this problem, this goes over several servers.

In the meantime I've signed up for another (local) hoster who offers a vServer for a reasonable amount of Gold and Gems. Grin

But it takes me way to much time to migrate all my sites from one hoster to the other to the next Undecided

sounds like you just need to go with a dedicated server.

I have a Semi dedicated server, and lately, for aobut the last week, everything just slows down to a near stop, and sometimes do stop, for about 5 minutes at a time. This is really annoying for me at the least, which is why I belive I am going to switch to Lunar Pages.

[just my 2 cents]

I think a bit of shopping around will find you much better deals than that, if you're looking for a premium site.

Thank you all, I found a great hoster, I'm running now on a ultra fast VServer and had just one outage, because of my own stupidity Grin
