I'm trying to edit dragon.php so that people don't lose all their money when they win/lose against the dragon. Same with max (permanent) HP. Can I get some tips? So far I've only made things worse lol.

Thanks!

Also it is highly unbalancing to to so, look at this thread and try to understand how the module works. Smiley

The first hook tells the system to keep the values after the dk.

the second hook is executed after resetting all values and then modifies them to your needs.

I take it back. Users are still losing all gold even tho it says to keep 100% and keep in bank = yes and keep on hand = yes

No, I won't add the maxhitpoint stuff... because this is handled by the module "globalhp".

If you intend to let your users start at level 1 with 150 * $dragonkills hitpoints, you will have to do this on your own. This is even worse than keeping gold over a DK.

after ye hath had thy server for awhile with some long term players, ye are most certainly going to see the problems that keeping gold/max hp upon win/loss is going to cause ye.

what ye hath asked for is exceedingly unbalanced and will create an environment of no challenge whatsoever for the players.

True, but with the buffercizer I didn't think that would be such an issue.

argh... No, you didn't upset me... I see, there can be reasons to keep the gold after a DK (especially, if you gradually increased the weaponcosts, too).

But keeping the hitpoints is very unbalancing Smiley

ok so it keeps the gold on hand with no problem

gold in the bank = bye bye no matter what you set it to.

and yah..youre all right about the HP. I've abandoned that idea.
