Hey guys,

I messed up my superuser acct with a badnav in my testing installation of logd, when I added a buggy module I wrote. (Module works now though woohoo hehe). I hadn't created a second admin yet, and even though the buggy module has now been fixed and uploaded, I still can't get my superuser out of that bad screen.

I read this thread here with a similar problem http://dragonprime.net/index.php?board=15;action=display;threadid=3227
...but alas I am a complete noob to sql. Can someone please walk me through how to "clear out the allowed navs" in plain English? Please use small words and assume you are talking to someone on the short bus Smiley

I'm looking at my phpmyadmin screen and have the right database selected, I'm just not sure exactly what to do, and am afraid I'm going to mess it all up. I can always just delete the whole thing and reinstall I guess, but I'd like to learn how to do this kind of stuff the right way. And yes, the very first thing I plan on doing when I get this fixed is to create a second acct with admin rights! hehe.

1.  Create a new game account
2.  Go into phpMyAdmin
3.  Copy the value from the superuser field of your admin account to the superuser field of the new account
4.  Log into the new account
5.  Go to User Editor and fix your main Admin's navs...

Im having a similar problem...

If I log in using:

It works fine.

But if I trty to log in using: http://www.lddv.com.br/

Im redirected to the "News" page, without the option of doing anything, just go bak to the logon screen.

Then I go back, log on again and Im redirected to a BadNav, and if i click in the link, I m sent agin to the news module, and keep on this loop...

This is happening with my admin account and a another common account.

Ive tryied cleaning the "allowednavs" using PHPMyAdmin, but the problem persists...

Any hints?

Regards, Josef

I had similiar problems.

It was caused by the redirection somehow. I didn't investigate further.

normally this would look like a cookie problem. (not accepting cookies) but it is also an error somehow with redirections.

But the problem is that this is not a redirection...

The DNS for this domain (www.lddv.com.br) are pointing to the server where the instalation is located.

Its a real domain....

I just dont know what to do Sad

hm, strange then.

here it's because the domain is a reroute, usually it works, but sometimes for some ppl it doesn't.

very strange. with the subdomain directly it works.

I just noticed that it seems that my ISP is not updateing its DNS table the way it should Smiley

Can you make a small test for me Nightborn?

The home screen appers messed up (for you too?? or its ok for you?)

And (If its not asking to much) trying to login in my instalation, because after i delete my old account (in the old server) the system is sowing me this error:

Not Found
The requested URL /login.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

But the file is there, I beleave that the ISP here is working in half way, sending some requests to the new server and other to the old server.
