I used to have .98 on my site last year, But i had to remove it because i ran out of sql databases. What version should i download to reinstall LOTGD, and also do i have to install updates or anything?

depends on your intentions...

what do you want to do? Smiley recreate exactly the same server or build something new.

Either way, I think the 1.0.5 (latest release) is my recommendation. It features more little useful things than the 0.98 ... which is outdated for some reasons.

you just have to know the data for your sql database, like name, host (localhost usually), username+password.

the rest is up to the installer (read everything carefully).

you may also set up a prefix for the tables lotgd creates.

whoops My bad, that was just the error i received from using Firefox on my mac to try and run the installer.

At the moment i'm stuck on the prefix, part 6 of the installer, I'm a bit stumped, Because i think all the tables are still installed from .98 from ages back, But i cant be too sure.

What should i do about this?

any suggestions?

EDIT

i actually got to set it up finall, And now i've gotten this error

it says the Lotgd site isnt there anymore Tongue what now?

seems like the template is not in place.

do you have the templates directory in the main directory?

What provider do you have?
