I got an email about a thread I'm in having a new post.  Well I knew the answer so I took a pic of it to aide in helping someone find what they're looking for and I come to see about it and the post that's in the email is not in the tread.  I tried forcing a page update a few times, but nothing changed from several days ago.  It's like a ghost phantom post from the future or something.  So I looked up the info, took a screen shot, posted the pic on tinypic.com and came to help out... all for... *gulp* a ghost?

Does this happen a lot?

Someone should notify Cmdr. Data that we've got a tear in the space time continuum and he probably needs to take that tachiyon phase inverter away from Wesley for the time being.

I'll check back for the phantom post in about an hour just to see if I'm crazy or something, LOL!

ETA: I guess the only sensible explanation is that the poster deleted their message... does that leave no trace?

The eyes of an admin cannot penetrate the depths of a dark hole.  Deleted is deleted...
