Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /web/logt/functions/closetags.php on line 7

But the syntax in line 7 is absolutely correct... Could it be that a 0.9.7-Version doesn't work on a server with PHP 5.0.1??

Plz help
Mfg

0.9.7 is no longer supported.

However, I do know that 1.0.5 will not work as it is on a server with PHP 5.x.x

First: 0.97 is totally unsupported now.
Second: Yes, 0.97 was not meant to run under PHP5, though I think Kevz has managed to make this possible...

I could be wrong.  I know at one time it wouldn't work with 5.x.x. good to hear you have it running on php 5.

There *might* be some issues with newdays looping around in funny ways under php5... not sure if this has been finally resolved...

The problem was *never* the 1.0.X logd code, but was a bug in early versions of PHP 5 where they broke the handling of 'now' in date parsing.

This has been fixed for a while (since PHP 5.0.3 I believe) and as far as I know, LoGD works perfectly fine with PHP 5.

Please note, this is hearsay since my own servers are still runing PHP 4.

LoGD 0.9.7 however will definately not run on newer PHPs.. That is part of the whole codebase cleanup we did for 1.0.X.

Ah.. awesome.  I'll have to install php5 on my computer at home and check it out then.
