what am I?

A while back, I started to make an ASP game where 2 players could logon and then fight each other in real time. I never did much with it, except make a basic fighting screen. Its works, one person presses fight and it disabled the fight button & hits the other person (taking away HP). And it goes back & forth. That all I have, but there is no special install needed (the browser just needs to support iframes & Jscript which every browser does)

Now, how does everyone feel about me trying to rewrite this is PHP and integrating this into LoGD?

As far as I know, PvP Arena recoding is currently in progress...but it is not definite that it's possible for this version... also it uses a considerate amount of server time.

So we'll see.

Take a search through some of the archives here, and you'll find some rather lengthy threads on the subject.  They may enlighten you on whether or not it's worth pursuing.

Of course, you're welcome to try...

Well, I do not mean to replace PVP, more of a addon to PVP fighting. So you could fight off-line & On-line,

I will try and find them & review when I get home

I have been trying to find a PVP battle arena. I remember Robert I think had it at his site at Maddnet. I loved it. But not sure if it would work in the newer version. Any one Know?

exactly. different system.

even if you recode them, you have to ask the author of the module because of the licensing changes.

I have no IDEA Huh on how long it will take. I might a little help with php coding to speed up development. Also since I do not have my game running live yet I will need some help testing it.

I will keep you all updated on the project

To program a PvP fighting module is not as easy as you might think Wink

even top notch programmers have discussed about this and yet no outcome.

Consider *how* the module will work Smiley
Read some threads about it, it has been discussed here as far as I know.
