On both of my servers (public/development), when an admin account gets a random event, sometimes there is no links back to the forest/village/whatever.

None of the non-admin accounts have this problem.

This is a problem caused by a module you've added, or changes you've made to the code so I've moved this out of RAID! (Core code bugs only).

You need to be more specific about when this happens, ie, what special event(s) cause this to occur.

The problem was with the 'Random Quotes' module. I just don't know where

Have you read through the Random Quotes module thread, and posted your problem in that thread if no solution was already discussed there?

I had this same problem and discovered that it had to do with the 'grotto links' module. we didn't have the problem anymore after I took it back out.

I finally figured this out. Its because of the way villagenav() works. Most modules use villagenav to put a link back to the village. If a link has all ready been outputed on that page, it doesn't work. The only way to fix it would be to change all the modules that use villagenav so that its called from in the header, or alter the modules that adds a link to the header so that it uses the footer instead.

The villagenav() functions works without any fault. It's most likely, that one of the modules you use is poorly coded...

As soon as you call page_footer() the execution of the whole scripts stops. Anything which comes after page_footer() will never ever be executed... Wink
