Version 1.0

Download: http://rpgsl.com/lotgd/timewarp.zip
Mirror: http://rpdragon.com/lotgd/timewarp.zip

An uncommon special event in the forest that allows characters to jump into a shimmering puddle of brilliant hues. The puddle will grant them a new day if they jump in and haven't used the puddle too much.

Settings

1) How many times can the Time Warp be used each day? - Default of 1

Prefs
1) How many times has this character used the Time Warp today?
2) Is the Time Warp currently in use?*

* This pref is only used to ensure that player doesn't get stuck in an endless loop.

Just as a thought, you might want to set it up so the player can only use this once per server game day as opposed to once per the user's game day.  And/or have that option as an admin configurable one...

Version 1.1

Download: http://rpgsl.com/lotgd/timewarp.zip
Mirror: http://rpdragon.com/lotgd/timewarp.zip

New Grotto Setting

1) Does the number of times that the character used the time warp reset on each server generated new game day or on each new day that the character receives?

There was also a logical error that was corrected. Please use this version.

I love this Mod and it works great except after you click 'continue' on the newday screen, it takes you right back to the mod, where you have the option of jumping or leaving again.

I've tried to reproduce this on my server, but am unable to. On my server, it gives you the option to jump in, then if you jump in, you get a new day, when you click continue, a message saying you feel refreshed and ready to start the day anew is displayed, then you just click continue to return to the forest.

Are you sure you have the latest version of 1.11?

yes, its version 1.11.

On mine it doesn't go to the 'you feel refreshed and ready to start the day anew' page after you click 'continue' on the new day page,. it still goes to the jump or leave page and I can't figure out why Sad

Hmm, I can't see where the error would be coming from either. I just downloaded the version right from here and installed it on my server, still works just fine.

Maybe you should uninstall and reinstall the module. Is anyone else having this problem?

Try uninstalling the module from the game, then delete timewarp.php from your server, upload a fresh copy of 1.11 and then reinstall. Let me know. Smiley

that time doing that didn't work. Oh well...it only loops once and only with the continue from the new day and if you jump again , it just goes to the you feel refreshed page  and gives the link to the forest.

Version 1.12

Streamlined the code a bit and made it so less clicks were needed.

ShadowRaven, please see if this version fixes your trouble and let me know. Thanks.

Quick Update to 1.13.

There was a logical error after closer examination of the flow of the module. Basically, the module would not reduce the number of times a character has used the Time Warp if the module was set to only reset the number of times used on a server generated day.

With the two last updates, I believe this module should be working properly now. Please let me know if it's not.

ShadowRaven, I think this will solve your problem.
