I'm wondering if there's a way to keep the holiday module "talk like a pirate day" running 24/7 without manually changing the activation date every day. I took a look at the code for that file but didn't really see anything that would be of help, although I must admit my php skills are not the best. If it's something that's possible, I would love any kind of help in regards to it.

Currently running my version at http://logd.arrpirates.com

- Also, I almost forgot! There seems to be some kind of trouble with PVP. When you click on someone to slay, it points to a file (dat.php) that doesn't exist. I'm a bit perplexed by this, since I also can't find any dat.php anywhere in my offline version of LOGD.

Terribly sorry if this has been posted somewhere else before!  Undecided

Just edit the holiday_pirate.php module code.  The following lines:

Code:
               $mytime = get_module_setting("activate");
      list($amonth,$aday) = split("-", $mytime);
      $amonth = (int)$amonth;
      $aday = (int)$aday;
      $month = (int)date("m");
      $day = (int)date("d");
      if ($month == $amonth && $day == $aday) {
         $args['text'] = holiday_pirate_munge($args['text']);
      }

can be changed to:

Code:

       $args['text'] = holiday_pirate_munge($args['text']);

Your other problem may be due to your php setup.  Your php might be setup to run as cgi.  If this is the case there are several threads on here that might help.
