Okay, wasn't too sure what to name the topic as, but here is my idea:

- A list of the previous five players who have killed you in PvP, that would appear on the set bounty screen for Dag (as a reference).

This would be easier than going through YoM (which most people probably delete as soon as they get the 'You've been killed!' messages, like I do a lot of the time).

I thought of this because I think the same player is killing me again and again in PvP, and I never remember to read my death YoM's before deleting them. Sad

So write up a module Smiley

Well, I'll try.. but I don't really know the right way to go about doing it, I'm no expert at PHP. Tongue

The thing I need to figure out how to do is keep track when a player (player 1) kills another player (player 2), and to update the killed player's (player 2's) recent kills list at the set bounty screen.

there are several modules that use the battle-victory hook.  you could look into those.

Though I'm not sure you really would want to make it a YoM.  I'd just make it a link.  Add a table to the database and when a player kills something or kills another player it just adds to the table.  Then all you have to do is extract the stats for the player.

why not use a hook at pvpdefeat? would be shorter because the hook wouldn't get active all the time in the woods? maybe if there is none (don't know) add one.

a table would be ok, just to keep the table userprefs small. then hook to dag and display your table. 5 entries.

if a pvp is made, the table pvp_stats is updated.

and while you're at it Wink you can make a counter for: pvp victories - pvp defeats including if you were attacker or defender.
