Hi all,

Why my members can't connect with a pseudonyme with spaces ?

Thank you

PS: Sorry for my bad english

you mean the login name?

"Login Name" is not equal to "Nickname in the Game"

There are two different fields in the table for that.

A Login like "Mike Meyers" shouldn't be a problem, I also have a space within my Login Name.

You may check that in the Users Editor.

When a member is registering, he choses a name. And when he wants to enter this name in order to login, if he has chosen a pseudo with spaces, he can't login, he must delete the space.

But in the administration, i can see the pseudonyme rule ("Allow spaces in user names") but i can't take her on "Yes".
In fact, i can't change nothing to "Yes" in the "Account creation" tab.

Thank you ^^

I see. Hm.... what do you mean by saying "I can't change to yes" ?

I had the problem when I installed my LotGD that some of the settings were not in the table... somehow ... and I wasn't able to save my changes.

I manually insert values in the settings table and then it all worked... the name of the setting for the table should be viewable in the source of configuration.php

check your game settings to make sure you aren't disallowing them.

He is not disallowing them. They are just not sticking when he changes them and tries to save.

He is running version 1.0.2 which has a known bug. When you try to change the settings, they change straight back. I'm not going to post the link to the thread where the fix is though - this version is no longer supported. It will fix itself when you upgrade Smiley
