Pretty simple Lodge Module, lets the player buy Smoke Bombs (no limit).  But what they are used for, though..

When you meet Lonestrider and have a Smoke Bomb, an option appears to throw the Smoke Bomb.  If successful, you will escape without battle or any loss of gems.  However, there is a chance the Smoke Bomb can fail (admin configurable), and you will be forced to fight if this happens.

Admin Settings:

- Number of Lodge Points to buy a Smoke Bomb (default 100)
- Chance that a Smoke Bomb will fail when used (default 20, range 0-100)

You can make this work without haveing to alter the core file Smiley

Simply hook into footer-forest and check
Code:
if ($session['user']['specialinc'] == "module:thieves")

Then you'd have to check for the $op, too, but that's not the problem... and it keeps updates... hmmm... well... easier...

I really have no idea how to do that at all; I did try something like what you said last night but the Smoke Bomb never worked even when I had failure rate at 0% so I ended up having to modify the core file. Sad

let's see, what you have done:

you have your module for buying the potion and the change in the core file. We'll take the last part out of the core file and merge it with the first one... Wink

Well... Just while thinking about this, I made the changes and uploaded the modified file.

It not tested yet, because my test server isn't running right now... But there should not be much more than a parse error - if at all Wink

Thanks for your help!

The whole idea from this module came from the 'Anti-Lonestrider Potion' thread at the main forums.. I figured I'd make something that has a pretty high success rate for escaping, but not 100%..

There were a few errors in the code, but I've tested it and ironed them out.  It now works fine with the core thieves module.
