I use Notepad2 ( http://www.flos-freeware.ch/notepad2.html )

I used to use WinSyntax, but I find that Notepad2's configurations are alot easier to comprehend, and change.

How about you?

also I used to phpdev or somesuch but it wasn't as cool as it could be so I just stopped programming on my windows box entirely

I write mods for vBulletin and have always used EditPlis 2. Never found anything that even comes close to it.

@Sichae - EditPlus isn't free. But worth every penny of the registration fee. Wink
