Hello,

I have started a new LoGD game at www.mattsshack.com and everything was working great till I checked it this morning.

This morning I noticed that all the bold and colors in the text are gone and an extra "er" is being added to the end of some worked. Example The would be theer.

I have looked in the code and do not see where I could have messed this up. I have not made any changes to the site in at least 48 hours and I believe the colors worked fine till this morning. I have also tried a forum search and I could not find anyone else with this trouble.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

You can see this on the game site at http://www.mattsshack.com/logd/

Thank you for any help in advance.

This an April 1st egg that is in the code.
It's in common.

Change the lines:
   if (date("m-d")=="04-01") {
with:
   if ((date("m-d")=="04-01") && (getsetting("april-fool",0)==1)){

and all will be fine - or just wait until midnight.

Your users can turn it off in their preferences under holiday text if they want.

The ability to turn it off is only in 0.9.8.. that was added after 0.9.7 was released.

The screwups with the colorization however was a bug which I found (and fixed) this morning.  It was calling the appoencode() function (which replaces the color tags with things like <span ....>...</span> before it called the holiday function which replaced 'n ' with 'ner '.  This quite obviously broke the HTML output Smiley
