As I'm sitting here staring at the bare-bones version of the newest version of said module, I thought I'd take a moment to solicit some ideas from the community.

Anyone have any ideas for the new version? Anything you would like to see added, improved upon, removed, etc? I'm all ears at the moment.

For reference: Petshop and Editor - v2.0

Side note: I forgot to properly thank lonnyl for keeping the Petshop updated in my absence. Thanks!

you might want to get a bug out, it's not an important, but it's not going to be hard to fix either (that is at least what I would think)

When you train with your pet for x turns your pet's turns become -x, no matter what your turns where before.
I have tested it with the newest version on a test server...

Aye. That is a good point. the idea of the module itself is very good. I rather like it. Thing is, there is a serious bug with petturns entering itself into the same DB window twice, which causes a massive SQL error that seemingly blocks a player completely out of the game until the module is deactivated. This only happens when custom pets are made for a user in the editor itself, however.

Just a thought. Great mod!

Version 3.0 is nearing completion finally. But, as my time is limited these days, I have no idea on a release date. It's tentaively known as Petshop v3.0 - as this is a complete rewrite.

But to address the replies in this thread:

Never heard of that one before. I'll keep an eye out for it as I test out the new version, though. Thanks for the heads up.

That's a bug related to v1.x.x and my module not behaving together. The petshop was designed for the prerelease, and as such, who only knows what other kind of whacky bugs may yet exist. This, too, shall be watched for as I test the newest version. Oh, and thanks!
