I am looking for an automatic logout module for any player being online for more than 'x' hours.
I had to limit the amount of online players to 30 and now some of them are staying logged in for very long and not letting other players in.

This module would be very handy...

Sorry for my english today... something is undoubtly wrong with me...

there's already an in-game setting for auto-logging out players who are not active for x seconds. It can be found in Game Settings, under content expiration tab, its called Seconds of inactivity before auto-logoff.

actually, i think dark_archon is looking for a module that will remove a player from the game after a set amount of time whether they are active or not, similar to how bbs's used to do in order to accomodate allowing other people to log in.

You could have a module hooking into "player-login", saving the login-timestamp into a pref and then having the moduel hook into "everyfooter" and checking against that pref, how long the user is logged-in... And then throw them out!

Nevertheless will this way not prevent users from simply logging in again, after being logged out...

You can also have a pref for the next time you're allowed to login.  If it's not that time, it can kick you right back out.
