There are some balance issues with the buffs, but overall it isn't bad.

The level 1 power lasts 5 rounds, and calls 3 minions, but the minions have no damage levels, so I don't know if it will work.

The level 2 power I think is a bit too strong.  If the badguy attack level is zero, not only will you not be hit, but you will likely riposte every time the badguy attacks for 5 rounds.  I think that's a bit strong for a level 2 power.

The level 3 and level 5 powers however are comparable with what other specialities offer at level 1.

i guess that's a difference in logic.  I never thought of them as levels, I just thought of them all as unique abilities to the specialty.  so, some players chose one specialty for it's 3rd ability, while others preferred another specialty because of it's 1st ability.  I think it's more balancing that way, rather than having an entire specialty better than another specialty, and it also mixes up the game difficulty, they might get a lot of help from the specialty at a lower level, but then not so much help later on in the game, or vice versa.  hmmm...

But a strong low level ability can be used more often a day and so it generally makes the game easier...
