I've been playing too much Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and spending too much time on here.  Last night I had a dream that lonny and others were making modules involving exploding barrels, where users would walk up to them, and they would explode and kill everyone around them.  There were barrels in the inn, killing violet, barrels in the village, barrels everywhere.

so i wrote a village special.  chance that the barrel will explode, either killing or wounding the player (admin configurable, ofcourse) or just get some gold or gems.  My initial intent  was to also be able to kill players online and in the same location, but i didn't think anyone (besides me Smiley ) would be so cruel to use it.

if that is the intention, the following code does not execute it properly:

on line 97:
$session['user']['hitpoints']-=get_module_setting('playerhp');

This sends low level Farmies straight to the underword =P

and it works like a charm, too.  Iori did it on my site, first.  Also did a real cool thing with the Turns carryover.  Now, turns only carry over when unused, and a new system day starts, or a newday starts because of a special, or something.  If you die - you only start again with your correct number of turns, you lose the ones you had in your old resurrection.  Likewise, they don't carry over a DK anymore either.  It's quite cool - Iori kicks butt!

OK, Sixf00t...fair enough.  Instead of making two posts, I spoke of two different coding changes Iori did for me on my site in close succession, and was giving her propz with that last post.  THAT is WTF.  the first one WAS the barrel, fixing that, to work as you had no doubt originally intended.
The other was the turns carryover thing.  I know, I was a bit off-topic, but I was basically just giving propz to Iori.
