I have looked at a great many games out there.....  Some don't seem to challange the players at all  allowing numerouse new days (or 30 minute game days).   Is your game challanging to your players?  How do you ensure it is?  What are the length of your game days and why?  I could ask so much more.... How is your game set up and why?

I have mine at 4 game days per day
10 turns (with many levels of mounts to add to that)
20 searches
10 trades
1 special event

I strive to make the game challanging to the players, the players who take advantage of their searches, trades, and our custom special events (Oak Street -  Soon....  very soon) move up the fastest.   I am actually working on code to further that and players who play regularly are going to get some additional benefits (secret, very secret, but when I am done it will be here).  

So anyway.... your turn. Grin

My game is setup like:

2 Hour Game Days
No Newday feature
12 Forest Fights per Day

Gems are extremely hard to come by, and its PVP all the time with 50 fights per day in PVP. +/- 3 Levels on PvP
Experience and bounties have been severely lowered due to the high amount of PVP'ing

Rob the Bank feature is there, although extremely hard to beat. (Though its possible, some do it every now and again)

Lottery is available but the random is high, (1 Winner in the last two months...= 31,000gp pot) So it is tuned down alot.

Over 35 different areas, cities....etc.
113 Specials

I feel like my server is pretty fairly balanced and stays fairly challenging...We have alot of deaths ! =p

Otherwise, I don't know...Its hard to keep content *new* all the time, but I try my best to constantly add/update things, even if its small changes.

I think when I have the time to get in there and do it, I'm going to add some content to the underworld, and make it so players have to resurrect via Ramius (at least take away the auto-res at newday).
That should be more challenging.
I'm planning on adding a "boss" type character for people to fight before going after the dragon, though I may very well make the dragon much more difficult at the same time (because it is a bit too easy out of the box IMHO).

I have now set the dragon to drastically increase in attack & defense & hitpoints based on a random number and a *3 based on there DK's I will let you know how it plays out.

i edited the dragon fight to level 17 and added two levels worth of mobs, i am curious what the easist way to make the dragon harder (like a lvl 20 would be)

Probably to modify the dragon's attack/defense/hp statistics.
