Hi all,
I have seen "remote.php" in my files, and was wondering what it does. I guess it backs up your sql database? How does it work? do you need to change the file to set it up? Where does it store the backup? I lost my data once and dont want it to happen again so any help would be great.

Based on continuing experience with 097 - Dont rely on *auto back ups* unless of course you write your own file that will do that.

I strongly suggest you manually make a back up via your sql panel - most likely it will be phpmyadmin or similiar program.

probalby the best way to do a backup is with a Cron job (or Task Scheduler for Windows admins), using mysqldump.  That's basically what I do.
